We prayerfully seek to foster the dynamic grace of Baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts1:5) which empowered the members of the early Church at Pentecost. "For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God bestowed when my hands were laid on you. The Spirit God has given us is no cowardly spirit, but rather one that makes us strong, loving, and wise." (2Tim1:6-7)

Word and Worship is a Prayer Group of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Diocese of Baton Rouge. If you're looking for a place to hear God's Word and worship the Lord, you can find it here with us. We invite you to come and see how good is the Lord Jesus and praise His Holy Name. Come join us as we adore our Lord and intercede for God's children.
Cindy Scardina has attended prayer meetings for 40 years and has help start many prayer groups in the Diocese of Baton Rouge. She has been a member of Mercy Beaucoup for 35 years ministering through music for worship and/or facilitating at retreats. She would like to personally invite all Christians who enjoy celebrating the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
